The Krakan ‘Dawn of The Krakan’ - September 10, 2007

The Krakan
‘Dawn of The Krakan’

Jeez I’ve been waiting for this for ages I’ve spoke to the Krakhan a couple of times on myspace and finally the British postal service have done there job and delivered us this CD.

From the second I put this CD into my trusty laptop I like what im hearing a nice movie sounding skit then we hear a fucking booming voice and its that of the Krakan pronounced (Crack – han) and his voice sounds to me like a mix of DMX and Everlast which aint no bad thing co’s I actually rate both immensely.

16 joints deep including some skits ‘Dawn of the Krakan’ is a heavyweight album which is most effectively bumped on a sick hi fi (that’s why I’ve took it out the laptop and shoved it into my big system) which is more effective for the Krakhans super sick voice to be appreciated fully.

This album is a breath of fresh air, the mainly sample free production is dope and suits Krakhan’s flow which is actually pretty different to what I’m used to hearing, The Krakhan rhymes phonetically quite a lot which he can pull off really well.

My favourite joints on this are ‘The Conviction’, ‘Sanctuary’ and ‘Sentient’ but I like all of them.

I’d recommend people to check out www.myspace.com/thekrakhan
