E.L are a new urban act emerging from the east end of London in the UK. This group consist of two main rappers and a DJ. The front man of the group is know as Pteezy while the rapper known as T is the mysterious artist of the group (hence the mask). Having chosen a group name that represents (for Pteezy) their place of birth and (for T) their place of discovery (E.L – East London) their flow stems from a range of urban music genres such as Hip-hop, R’n’B & Soul. Hee we have their brand new single, 'Throw It Back', which is out 2nd August on RTD / Universal. The track itself is a club orientated banger, produced by T, and is set to be a sure fire hit with DJs in both the UK and the US. You could be forgiven for thinking E.L are just any other 'swagger' based hip hop group (and the video won't help out there, seen as it's set in a club with, you guessed it.. champagne and girls), but there is certainly something more intruiging and definitely appealing about E.L than most other artists of their kind. For that reason, we strongly recommend you check these guys out, and if you like it, cop the single on the 2nd August! | |
