Brockway Biggs ‘In Awe of Simplicity’
Brockway Entertainment

I picked this up today from the P O Box and was initially very impressed with the wicked artwork which shows Brockway standing in a lake presumably somewhere in his native Canada??? Which brings me to the next point we don’t have a section for Canadian hip hop here at HHB so that why you’ve found this review in the US albums section (Ed. not any more since 22nd December 2008 we now have an international section) … phew.

Right the album its ok still, well produced but fairly down tempo throughout which assists Brockway’s rhymes which are quite simple in execution but generally thought provoking and a bit different to the norm.

Overall the album is weighted out with good vibrations. Maybe I’m just so used to street hip hop that ‘In Awe of Simplicity’ doesn’t quite fit with what appeals to me, but it doesn’t mean the CD is whack it just isn’t my cup of cha if I’m honest!
