Ok so I’m here reviewing this neat little package for the same people who run this very site and for the years I’ve been doing these reviews I’ve never met either Lunatrix or DJ Vokal, but since 2006 they’ve sent me an awful lot of cd’s and this one came in the post today, but they know me well enough from my reviews that if it’s shit I will tell them.

The DVD itself runs at over two hours, but the majority of it is very informative and interesting, there’s not a huge amount of actual rapping here but it’s great to see UK hip hop entrepreneurs like Baby J take you around their studios which gives a real insight to their everyday existence, if we were watching the biggest people in the American scene I’m sure it would look very different, a word to summarise the top boys in the UK game is quite simply humble.

Production wise Luna and Vokal have done everything here from filming to producing to audio to editing and they’ve defiantly got some skills, this whole project looks great.

I really like this DVD and I urge anyone with a faint interest in hip hop (yes there’s some yanks in it too) to get this, as there’s nothing else quite like it out there!!!! I believe a second volume is coming soon which is great as I think the lads are onto a real winner!!
